ABOUT THIS COFFEE:
Kenya is situated along the East African Coast and the equator. Kenyan Coffee is celebrated as one of the top bold and distinctive flavor profiles in the coffee world. It is a fully washed coffee with a Specialty Coffee Association {SCA} score ranging from 85-90.
The rich volcanic soils coupled with an annual rainfall of around 39-47 inches makes the ideal climate to develop the top aroma and flavor notes. Small farms generally band together to form local grower associations and/or cooperatives as well as larger estates giving the country a diverse production base. Walker Coffee has strong historical family ties to Kenya which gives them unique access to the very best coffees available in the country. (source: our friends at Walker Coffee Trading)
